How Does Home Solar Work?

2. Your inverter will convert this DC current into AC current, which is usable throughout your home.
3. The electrical panel will distribute the incoming AC current throughout your household, powering your devices, appliances, and more.
4. Any excess electricity that is not used will flow back into your local energy grid through your utility meter, which will be used to add credit to your utility bill and reduce or eliminate your electricity bills completely.
